SkinMedix uses the LightSheer Diode Laser System, the recognized “Gold Standard” for permanent hair reduction. This technology offers high powers and both short and very long (400 ms) pulses to safely and effectively treat all skin types including tanned skin and the broadest range of hair colors, diameters and depths. A series of 6 to 8 treatments once every 4 to 6 weeks is required to achieve 80 to 90% hair reduction. It is normal for small amounts of hair to grow back and this could require a periodic maintenance treatment once or twice a year.
